3 lights flashing through colors.

3 of my lights are freaking out. Any idea why this might be happening? They are flashing rapidly through the colors, just 3 of the many lights that I have.

I may have too many lights in my signal chain.

Without any extra informations it will be difficult to help you.
Could you tell how many lights do you have and their mode?
How long is your dmx line?
WHat controller are you using?
What kind of cable are you using?
Where are the flashing lights on the dmx bus; beginning, middle, end?

I have 46 lights on a pretty long chain. We are using the quad. The lights flashing are in the middle. I think I will add another universe for the house DMX lights.

First you can try to use a different output of teh QuadCore.
Second you try to put a terminaison resistor on your last fixture
Last thing, you can try to activate the "slow DMX" setting, in the QuadCore settings page.
