Hey everyone,
For some background: I'm more of a sound guy that currently uses cuelux like a glorified lightswitch. I want to start using some bpm controlled cuelists. Now the problem: I would like to automate the bpm detection for convenience sake. While I have mixers that support live bpm detection, none of them support midi clock out, so I can't just pipe that signal into cuelux. Does anyone know of a free or preferably cheap solution to this problem? I've been thinking that a simple program would be perfect but haven't been able to find anything working for this admittedly very specific task.
Thanks in advance, Florian.

If you ware using a mac you can have a look at a software called wave clock: https://wavesum.net/products.html
if you are using windows you can have a look at this software: https://www.bigfug.com/software/audiobox/

They should convert an audio signal in a midi clock, that you will be able to use as a tempo for your  playbacks in Cuelux.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate your help in finding a solution to my problem. I'm sorry if I missed some obvious answers before asking. I guess I didn't look hard enough. Really appreciate the help.

Just an update for anyone else that might be interested in this,
the version of the program provided on github can detect bpm but seems to lack the ability to send out a midi clock signal, wich is weird given that the images show a much more advanced user interface. I have written to the original author of the program but I haven't gotten a reply yet.

Thank you for the feedback.
Yes this is strange as this software is presented as being able to send midi signals!

Update 2.0 for whoever might need it:

I have given up on audiobox since the author never replied.
I have found a program called ZePlayer on the forum of  a VJ Softwear here: https://magicmusicvisuals.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1200
This is the VirusTotal analyses of the file: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/c4d130beede327bc5b6d776adf2f12dc2f63c1d702228363132caf04e2989c38/detection
The only thing it struggles with are large, sudden bpm changes so you might have to hit the reanalyze button. You may also need a virtual midi cable.
Attached is a picture of the program working.
