Hi,

We were at PLASA recently and filmed a product demonstration of CueLux with Maarten Engles. To watch it you can head over to our site using the following link:

CueLux demo at PLASA09 (video)

Hope some people find it useful.

Regards.

Ooops, there was a problem with the video encoding. Somehow it became corrupt, the issue should be fixed now. Sorry about that!

Eej Maarten!

Nice talk, but you look a bit nervous ;)

Which 3rd-party software are you using for the visualiser?

Gr,
Rick

To be fair to Maarten we did spring it on him a bit, he had no time to prepare  ;D

I think he did a great job, we did the whole thing in one take, which is more than can be said for some of the other exhibitors we visited! Thanks for taking the time to talk to us Maarten.

Regards.

Nice demo.

;) Maybe Visual Productions can make a video with the tips and tricks and the hidden in's and out's of Cuelux (online video manual  ;) ). I think that there are a lot of hidden futures and  tricks for getting everything out of the software that are not described in de manual.

Maarten which midi controller do you use on the product demo?

Kind regards,

Eddy C

The manual is based on Cuelux 0.26 BETA 1. That's why it is incomplete ;)  ::)

He's using the Behringer BFC-2000 :)

Hi we were using the Capture Polar visualization running on Mac OS X.  We really enjoyed working with the product, after a couple of inital teething problems, Jeroen and Maarten found it quite quick to make a nice looking set up.

he!, doing the video was fun! But I now understand why presenters are using auto-cues; so they don't have to think about the next item while they are already talking :)
I actually did a second video interview as well with the people from LSI magazine, but I haven't seen that one online yet...
Anyway, Plasa was hectic and fun; visitor numbers were down but we had a very good show nevertheless. And it was cool to finally meet TechieTalk in person...

Regarding the instruction vids for Cuelux; that is definetly a good idea. I really want to invest some time into that in the upcoming months....   (now where do I get auto-cue from ....  8) )

If you have an iPhone check out AutoPrompter or ProPrompter.
