Hello, will there be an option in the future to record DMX on the SPINODE? To give commands over the network to activate them?

Hi Yahav,

Simply put: No, we do not have the plan to implement this. Since the SpiNode is, as the name implies, a node and not a controller, it is intended to be used with a separate controller, either from VisualProductions or a third party, that sends DMX over Art-Net or sACN to be displayed on the connected SPI LED string(s).

Feel free though to elaborate on your line of thinking, and what you exactly mean by 'to activate them', so we can help you better.

Kind regards,

Hi
I think it's right that SPINODE will have a recording option because you can do permanent installations with SPINODE and B-Station2
In terms of programming and installation cost, this is a good solution.

A command issued from B-Station2 triggers a specific recording in SPINODE.

you are right this would be a nice combination, but the hardware of  the SpiNode has not been designed to be able to store any content.
But this is a nice idea for a potential new products, thank you for your feedback.
