SpiNode Firmware version

Hi,

We have 2 SpiNodes.

On the first one, we plugged it in, and the first thing we did was upgrade the firmware version using vManager. It is currently running 1.01

On the second spinode, we plugged it in, and went to upgrade the firmware version using vManager, and it was also running 1.00 , so we tried to upgrade it to 1.01, We click on "Firmware Version" , and then click "upgrade" , it shows installing and a progress bar in the devices tab, completes it's cycle, and then it still shows as 1.00 (in orange).

Any advice on what we need to do to be able to upgrade it?

hi Yoshi, I am sorry to read that you are having a problem updating your SpiNode.
Could you tell me the serial number of your 2 units?

When you tried to update the second one, was it directly connected to your computer with a network cable, or was in a "big" network setup?
If you were using a big network, can you try with a direct network connection?

I reset the second spinode, and then connected it directly to a laptop, and was finally able to update the firmware.

I had tried it several times, using different ethernet cables, and plugging into different power sources, and then magically got the right combination. (I'm not sure what change ended up finally working. It seemed like I was switching things multiple times, and getting the same result, until it finally just worked!)

I am sorry you had some hard time updating your second SpiNode but happy to know that you finally get it working.
