Hey was just wondering if it is possible to control the TimeCore from Grand MA 3 hardware over Art-Net.

I want/have the TimeCore generating timecode and sending to MA hardware over Art-Net and was curious if there was a way to 'start', 'stop', 'pause' and set the TimeCore to specific times such as '01:00:00' over Art-Net from the MA.

I am unsure whether this requires the a command in the command line or any other methods.

Also if this isnt a viable solution/method what does the process look like for sending OSC data to the TimeCore to get the same desired results.

Hello Alexander,

Yes, this is absolutely possible.
- The idea would be to use an Art-Net channel to control a variable, which then can be used to trigger different desired events such as start, stop, set time, etc.
- Make sure sending and receiving Art-Net universe settings on the Grand MA and TimeCore are correct.

See the attached backup for an example of the ShowControl programming (no other settings were done)
