Hi,

We are currently working with CueluxPro to try and build a "chasing light" sequence to be used with WS2815 pixel led strips. There will be various strips of differing lengths (between 228 RGB LEDs and 354 RGB LEDs)

We are trying to have roughly 80% of the LEDs on, and 20% off for each strip.

For our first test, we used the RGB 1x fixture, with autogroup setting on the SpiNode port configured to 3. I've attached an image showing roughly how we designed the matrix for the short strip.

I tried to post a screen captured video of it running, but could not attach an mp4 file.

Here are some screen captures of what we have built.

We set up 76 fixtures (RGB x1 fixture) , with spinode autogroups of 3, to control 228 individual leds. 61 on, and 15 off, moving along in steps of 5 (groups of 3, so 15 pixels move along).

Is there a more efficient way to build this?

Also, is there a way to make the sequence move faster than the maximum limit in the playback settings?

We tried to do it with the fx button, rather than the dimmer function, but could not get it to have 80% of the lights on. Is there  a way we can change that?

Thanks for any assistance!
