Plejd Dali Bordcast to VP DaliCore/DMX

Hi

I'm looking into ways to integrate som DMX driven RGBW dimmers into a Dali system, and I am wondering if the DaliCore can be the solution.
I have a system where the general lighting in the room is controlled with Dali, and we want to controll up to 10 RGBW LED strips outlining features in the room. It doesn't need to be dynamic control, just triggering og cue or preset looks.

So the question is: Can DaliCore pick up a DALI command, and use this comand to trigge a DMX cue?

Hello Bjørnar,

First of all thanks for reaching out and for the clear explanation of your setup. Yes, the DaliCore is actually a very good fit for this application , and your proposed pdf setup looks correct

The DaliCore is not recognise as a DALI device so the Plejd controler cannot address directly to it but it can read the DALI messages on the bus. Using the show control you will be able to use those informations to trigger DMX scenes.
