My Iocore2 appears to have locked up, or failed.

I cant connect to it directly or through a network.
The reset button does make the LED flicker, but the unit does not appear to then reset its IP Address.

The 2 LEDs on the network port are locked solid green all the time.

Is there a way to fully factory reset the unit without access via the network?

Hello Jim,

Sorry to hear you have issues with the IoCore2, but thanks for the clear explanation :)

On the IoCore2 the reset button can recover the network settings, but it is not a full factory reset of the complete unit. A short press toggles between DHCP and static IP mode, and holding the reset button for about 3 seconds should restore the default static IP:

`192.168.1.10`
Subnet: `255.255.255.0`

Please try this with only power and Ethernet connected. After the 3-second reset, set your computer manually to something like `192.168.1.100 / 255.255.255.0` and connect directly to the IoCore2. Then try opening:

Also check if vManager can discover it.

The two green LEDs on the network port are not used as a documented fault code, but if they stay permanently solid and the unit still does not respond after the reset above, it could point to a network/hardware issue that could be troubleshoot better with a RMA.

If it still does not come back, please send us the serial number and a short video showing the main status LED and the Ethernet LEDs during power-up.

Hope this helps!
Jorge Solano
