I need to integrate a DMX to DALI-2 controller

Hello,
I am new to the DALI system. I wish to integrate:
20x INDIGO LINEAR 2 P 21W-32W 75° DALI-2
16x LEDVANCE HIGH BAY 200W DALI-2
Also, can I control them with the DaliCore, and can I commission the system with it as well?

First of all thanks for reaching out and for the clear explanation

Yes, for 36 DALI luminaires in total, one DaliCore should be suitable. The DaliCore can commission up to 64 DALI fixtures on one DALI bus, so the amount of fixtures is within range.

The important detail is that the DaliCore is a DALI controller, but not a full DALI-2 controller. In practice, many DALI-2 drivers still respond perfectly to standard DALI dimming commands, so for normal intensity control, groups and scenes this should work fine. It should not be used for DALI-2 specific features such as sensors, switches, input devices or advanced diagnostics.

So my recommendation would be to first test one INDIGO and one LEDVANCE fixture on the DALI Patch page of the DaliCore. If they are discovered correctly and respond to intensity control, the full installation should be straightforward.

Also, do not forget that the DALI bus needs its own DALI bus power supply.
