New laptop

Probably a simple question but I crashed my old laptop and the software is not working as the driver doesnt recognize Cuelux, how can I get the driver so that it works?

Hello 

First of all thanks for reaching out. Cuelux normally does not need a separate driver download.

If you are using Windows, the CueCable / Cuelux2 USB-DMX driver is included in the Cuelux installer. If you are using macOS, no separate driver should be needed.

Please try reinstalling the latest Cuelux version from our downloads page, then connect the CueCable directly to the laptop without a USB hub. After starting Cuelux, go to **Options → Hardware** and check if the CueCable is detected there.

Could you let us know which operating system you are using, which Cuelux version you installed, and whether you are using the original Visual Productions CueCable / Cuelux2 interface or another USB-DMX adapter?
