Hi,

I am not sure if what I am trying to do is possible. I was having issues trying to create a smooth visual chase/transition using cueluxpro, so I started working with another software.

I was able to get that software to communicate directly with the 2 SpiNodes, and watch the scene. Now I wanted to try and record that scene to the Quadcore.

I had initially hoped that I could just go into the "Track" Tab of the quadcore menu, and click on record, however nothing was captured.

I then reconfigured the other software to direct it to send the signal to the static ip of the Quadcore device, rather than the 2 SpiNodes. That also did not work.

I noticed a couple of things:

In the 2 attached images, in the bottom right corners,
Receiving Artnet - No

And

Capture Artnet - is greyed out.

I am not sure how to turn those on?

Is there any other tips I need to know on what I am trying to do? The scene I have created uses 4 universes. Can they all be recorded at once via ethernet?

Thanks for any help!

Mike

Hello Mike,

Yes, this is possible  :)

The QuadCore can record all four Art-Net universes simultaneously into one Track.

First, go to:

 **Settings → Art-Net → Input**

and make sure universes A–D match the four universes sent by your software.

Please note that **Art-Net numbering is zero-based**. This means the first four universes may need to be configured as **0.0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3**, even if your software displays them as universes 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The grey RX indicators are status indicators, not buttons. They will activate automatically once the QuadCore receives valid Art-Net data. The **Capture Art-Net** button is part of the Intensity Map and is not used for recording a Track.

Once **Receiving Art-Net** shows “Yes”, select an empty Track, erase it, set **Mode to Manual** and **Source to Art-Net**, then use Record and Stop. Keep in mind that four universes of pixel data can use the available Track memory very quickly.

Hope this helps!
