Fader in kiosc can't control intensity

Hello,
I'm using a system with a cuecore and some bstations2 and would like to control some lights with kiosc.
I used kiosc editor to build a controler, but I have some trouble with faders :
My fader sends a value between 0 and 255 (I have tried with default settings and same result) to the cuecore, then the cuecore sends this value to the bstations2, which control the lights.
However, if I put the fader input as a trigger for fixtures -> intensity -> control, it does not control any intensity...
Note that if I try with grandmaster -> intensity -> control, it does not work either. As I chose the color for a color picker from kiosc...
My fixtures seem to be RGBW with virtual dimmer on.
Am I missing something?

Hello Auguste

The fader should send an OSC Float from 0.0 to 1.0, not a value from 0 to 255. At half position, the OSC monitor should show approximately 0.5.

Also:

`Fixture → Intensity → Control`

Only affects fixtures patched in the device running that task. If the fixtures are patched and the DMX is output from the B-Station2, send the fader value to that B-Station2 and create the Fixture Intensity task there. Make sure the RGBW personality and Virtual Dimmer are configured correctly, then test it from the local Programmer and press Clear twice afterwards.

The Playback Master only controls local playbacks, so it will not act as a universal dimmer for fixture values generated by another device.

Thank you for your response,
I have figured it out : the color picker needs to be configured in the bstation2 like Fixtures -> RGBW -> control. If we want to dim the lights with Fixtures -> intensity -> control.
The way I was using the color picker was : DMX -> RGBW -> control -> DMX address. This way, it seems not possible to control intensity.
I do note also : my off button has a fixture -> clear. So I have a way to 'reset' my lights, that's mean there is no unintended merging.

Now that my system works, I do have a final question, regarding feedbacks : Can the fader in kiosc resets when I clear fixtures with my off button ?

Great, your understanding is correct 

`Fixture → RGBW → Control` and `Fixture → Intensity → Control`
both use the B-Station2 fixture engine, including the virtual dimmer. `DMX → RGBW → Control` writes directly to the DMX channels, so the fixture intensity control cannot scale those values in the same way.

The Kiosc fader will not reset automatically when using `Fixture → Clear`, but you can add a second task to the same Off-button action: send an OSC Float value of `0.0` back to the same tag used by the Kiosc fader. Make sure the B-Station2 OSC output is configured with the Kiosc device’s IP address and listening port.
