Hi Jeroen,

I have only just begun with Cuelux with great hopes for effective lighting control. However, I am quite new to lighting stuff too. I am struggling to  find the fixtures that I have. Maybe I have missed them or they have been renamed.

I have found some and have downloaded one from the forum.
My lighting list is currently...
Varytech Easymove LED XS - found
Stairville PAR 56 5 channel - downloaded from forum
Stairville Strobe 200 DMX - not found
iColor 4 by Acme - not found
GTECH Duolase G - not found
Stairville GR140 RGY DMX - not found

If I need to supply with details then I am aware of that, I just wanted to check if I had missed them first.

hi Terry,

The iColor 4 is present in the JBSystems library. I will copy it to the Acme file as well.

For the other units, please post the links to the manuals and I will create them for you.

When I download  a file, does it overwrite what is there under the manufacturer? If so, will I lose my downloaded Par56 file?

When you copy a new personality file in the "User/Visual Productions/Personalities/Factory" folder you will overwrite the old file.
You can also copy them to the "User/Visual Productions/Personalities/User" folder, then nothing will be overwriten and they will appear at the very bottom of the 'Manufacturer' list in Cuelux.

Thank you for your help so far. Something so quick is rare these days in the world of sell it but not support it.

Cannot find links to the product manuals so here is the DMX implementation. I hope there is enough information.

Please note, if I am typing the German I understand none of it, so English please. I sense you will be able to translate!

Stairville DJ LASE GR-140 RGY DMX
CH1 Modus: 0-50 LASER ist aus, 51-101 DMX Steuer Modus, 102-152 DMX SHOW edit Modus, 153-255 DMX SHOW Musik Modus
CH2 Grating Effekt Kanal: 1-224 Effect Positionierung, 224-240 Rotation im Uhzeigersinn, 241-255 Rotation gegen Unzeigersinn
CH3 Geschwindigkeit: 0-255 Geschwindigkeit der Bewegung
CH4 Strobe: 0-255 Strobe Geschwindigkeit
CH5 Farbe: 0-255 Auswahl der Farbeffekte

Stairville Strobe 200 DMX
CH1 Strobe Speed
CH2 Dimmer
For both of these there are 16 levels (Strobe speed/Dimmer)
0-15: Stopped/Blackout
16-31: Speed 1/Dimmer 1
32-47: Speed 2/Dimmer 2
48-63: Speed 3/Dimmer 3
64-79: Speed 4/Dimmer 4
80-95: Speed 5/Dimmer 5
96-111: Speed 6/Dimmer 6
112-127: Speed 7/Dimmer 7
128-143: Speed 8/Dimmer 8
144-159: Speed 9/Dimmer 9
160-175: Speed 10/Dimmer 10
176-191: Speed 11/Dimmer 11
192-207: Speed 12/Dimmer 12
208-223: Speed 13/Dimmer 13
224-239: Speed 14/Dimmer 14
240-255: Speed 15/Dimmer 15

GTECH DuoLase G
http://www.coollaser.de/he.pl?category=00000248&article=00001123
But my manual seems to have more information in it...
CH1: 0-63 LASER block out, 64-127 Auto Show, 128-191 Sound activated Show (Music), 192-255 DMX Mode (Other channels activated)
CH2 Pattern: 0-255 32 patterns shown in list (8 per pattern eg 0-7, 8-15 etc.)
CH3 Zooming :0-127 100% to 5% Size, 128-169 Zooming in, 170-209 Zooming out, 210-255 Zooming in and out
CH4 Y-axis rolling: 0-127 0-359 degree fixed Y axis rolling, 128-191 Clockwise rolling, 192-255 Anticlockwise rolling
CH5 X-axis rolling: 0-127 0-359 degree fixed X axis rolling, 128-191 Clockwise rolling, 192-255 Anticlockwise rolling
CH6 Z-axis rotating: 0-127 0-359 degree fixed Z axis rotating, 128-191 Clockwise rotating, 192-255 Anticlockwise rotating
CH7 X Axis Moving: 0-127 128 different fixed position on X, 128-191 Clockwise moving, 192-255 Anticlockwise moving
CH7 Y Axis Moving: 0-127 128 different fixed position on Y, 128-191 Clockwise moving, 192-255 Anticlockwise moving
(I think there is a misprint in the manual for Ch7 & Ch8 where the Anticlockwise moving is stated as 128-255 in both cases)

Here's hoping that is enough information.
Thank you in advance of your time.

T.

Thank you. I didn't check befre Xmas. You are so quick, you caught me out. I'll let you know how it goes and if anything is not quiet up to par.

Thanks again. Exemplary service.
