hi Sebastian,

I have looked into the CK documentation you've sent. I think the iColor Cove EC is not DMX compatible, it's controller the sPdS-60ca is. The amount of channels this controller consumes is dependent on the number of fixtures connected. In the myriad of manuals and guides I have failed to find the DMX traits for the controller, so I assume it's just RED+GREEN+BLUE.

Please consider using the RGB fixtures in the 'Generic' library, they come in different sizes (1x - 10x). If some reason this will not work for your situation then please let me know; if you forward me the DMX traits and the number of Cove EC units your using I can create a file specially for you.

thanks for your replay, i will check it after x-mas holiday.
I do not understand what is related to the different sizes 1x-10x.
do you mean 1x for 1x  cove ec?
or 9x because of the 9 led on the cove?
on datasheet they wrot: 9 LEDs (3 Red, 3 Green, 3 Blue)
or last but not least need i on menu 3xrgbfixture for each color a own chanel?
im sorry for my troubleshoting
i have search some more time in the colorkinetics site.
is one of this files usefull:

"10x RGB" means 1 fixture with 10 RGB sub-fixtures in Cuelux. That's 10 individual controllable RGB pixels/segments/units.

Let's say you have a LED driver/controller with 10 individually controllable RGB-outputs. In that case you add the "10x RGB" fixture, you can then control 10x RGB (= 30 channels).

You could - for instance - patch: 3 pieces "Generic - RGB 06x"
