Dear colleags!
Happy Holidays to everybody!
Good health and a lot of good time!!!
Dear Maartens,
I want to share one idea you may find interesting.
D-Link makes wireless routers like DIR-655.
This unit has USB port designed for sharing printers, scanners and so on.
Some time ago I tryed to hook up my digital audio mixer with my wireless tablet
and after some time I did it.
Now I can walk throw the venue with my tablet EQing, mixing and so on. This is great!
Today I tryed it with my Cuelux (actually with Emulation).
Driver installed - no problems.
It was working for couple minutes pretty good - I was testing it with one fixture.
But then program got frozen.
Actually DIR-655 was frozen too.
I had to restart both the router and the tablet to get it working again, but again it was only for couple minutes.
Maybe it make sense for you to check the driver compatibility with D-Link.
It can make a great option for your great software.
P.S. I hope that bandwith will be enough to carry DMX information.
With my audio setup I am able to use real time audio analyzer up to at least 50 meters, and this is a lot of real time
information.
Svet.
