Fixed it anyways, it was the dead time, it was set to 0.

Have a go and see if you get a better result. With your bcf.

Enter Gs mode, edit and store, push down on knob 7. If its below 100 up it to 250 or maybe 500. Up to you! Have a go, everyone is different.

Thanks!
Cal

Mac 10.6.8
Cuelux vers. cuelux10337
SysExLibrarian 1.2.2
behringer_bcf2000_v2.syx file
dumped to
BCF2000 in BC mode ( hold top row most left button during booting )
and U-3 mode ( set in Global Setup mode with encoder 1 )
( For Global Setup mode press edit and store together )
Store Preset

Select in Cuelux - Midi - Port 1 for in and out, mapping BCF2000

Works now as expected...
I had a problem first with stuck feeling faders ( probably from midi foldback )
I searched for 3 hours and found encoder 7 in Global Setup was set to 0 ( zero )
everything higher than 40 works,
anybody knows what this setting is ?
The manual has empty lines on that row...
edit :
The BC Midi Implementation pdf has info on this
http://home.kpn.nl/f2hmjvandenberg281/download/BC/BC%20MIDI%20Implementation.pdf
It's the dead time...
Default chart :

1 : MidiMode U-3
4 : StartupPreset last
3 : FootSwitch auto
2 : ReceiveChannel off
5 : DeviceID 1
6 : Sysex dump  ? not mentioned
7 : DeadTime 100
8 : TransmissionInterval 20

Thanks everybody for help
and best regards

Klaus

Hi!

Im playing a bit with my BCR2000 (normaly i use a BCF, but that one is builded in in a flightcase, I use the BCR at home)
I have programmed on the encouder group 4 on the first fader the programmer faders with:
Code: [Select]
<action>
                    <trigger type="Midi" specifier="Change">Channel 0 - Message 11 - Index 25</trigger>
                    <tasks>
                        <task type="Special" feature="Programmer Wheel 1" function ="Control"/>
                    </tasks>
</action>
This works succesfull.
Now my question: how do i get feedback on this?
And is it only possible for the first 3 faders?

I also maded an encoder to select a programmer page:
Code: [Select]
<action>
    <trigger type="Midi" specifier="Change">Channel 0 - Message 11 - Index 60</trigger>
    <tasks>
<task type="Special" feature="Programmer Page" function ="Control" />
    </tasks>
</action>
Again the same question: how to get feedback on this...

Thanks!
Greetz,  Boyd!

Hello Boyd,

At the moment Cuelux doesn't support feedback for those functions.
In the pro version this has been extended and in the long term some of those functions will make it into the "normal" Cuelux editon.

Ok thank you! I will come especially to pro light and sound for cuelux pro!
I'm not really interested in cuelux, I do not own a cuecable, but I was playing a bit with cuelux, to check how it works...
Can you give some details about the Midi programming in the pro version? Is it in the software or still with the .xml files?
BTW, I like the XML system...

Hi all,

This might be a stupid question. How do you guys control your Go buttons, i know how the Go faders work, but I can't seem to find how to control the go buttons on my BFC2000.

I am working on Mac osx.

Help would be most appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hello BCF2000 Freaks,

ich use for the BFC, "Hardware" Preset 1 the internal cuelux Sysex File.
I create 5 "Software" presets with Channel Specific Design (Fader, Flash, Start Release, Temp, Attack).
Now i will create "non" Channel Specific Designes. Via "hardware" Presets over 1? I want use switches
on the BCF for different actions, and want use the little faders abobe to trigger directly DMX Channels.
Possible? Can I Assign the Buttons on Top in Cuelux (Knob) on a free Preset to BCF?

Example Sofwtare Button 1 on Top Cuelux(knob) to Button X on BCF, currently it works only
when i click with Mouse in Cuelux. Non Flash, non Tempo, non attack...
It´s hard to declare that......

i'm sorry i don't really understand what you want to do but, one thing is sure, you can use the faders of the bcf to control directly the dmx chanels.

Bellow Julien,

I want to  use the Encoder to Control the Dmx channels. I want to use the Switches below the the encoders
To Save scences. But Not Channel specific.

I have a littlle problem.
I've edited a BCF midimap for somebody but Cuelux doesn't recognize the midimap wich is located in the User folder.
Did i do something wrong?
