Have a look again at the very first post in this topic; it sounds like you still need to store the preset.

In theory, yes. But I haven't done it myself. It's a bit complicated as one BCF should be connected through the other one. Cuelux only supports 1 Midi device. It would also involve changing the midimap.

Nobody actually made a midimap like on this picture (as far as I know).

Hi

Can you made a midi map and replace the fog button with the blackout button? Or can you set a keyboard sortcut for blackout to be used to a macbook?

Thanks

Good evening and Merry Christmas,

I'm sitting here in front of a BCF and fight with it's midimap:

I replaced the Fog-Button with Release and it works nearly fine. The function itself works but the led on the BCF isn't working. It's always dark, whether the cuelux-relase lights or not (the led isn't broken-down, I've tested that)
I tried following code for nothing:

<action>
                   <trigger type="Unsigned" specifier="Change">Release Active</trigger>
                  <tasks>
                      <task type="Midi" function ="Control">
                            <argument type="Midi Address">Channel 0 - Message 11 - Index 91</argument>
                        </task>
                    </tasks>
            </action>

My other problem is the feedback for the attack-values: If I change the attack in cuelux, my BCF doesn't change it's LED's. The other way round (change at BCF => change at cuelux) just works fine.

The code I've tried out:

 <action>
                    <trigger type="Unsigned" specifier="Change">Playback Fader 01 LevelTer</trigger>
                    <tasks>
                        <task type="Midi" function ="Control">
                            <argument type="Midi Address">Channel 0 - Message 11 - Index 9</argument>
                        </task>
                    </tasks>
            </action>

Regards Juli

Hi Juli,

Please install the attached midimap (place it in the "user" folder).
The release button is already working as soon as you use this midimap, the feedback with the LED will be working in the next release using this midimap.

Bart

Hi Bart,

thanks for your response.
I uploaded Maarten's SysEx-File and your Midimap but nothing changed :-(
The release-function itself works, but i get no feedback from cuelux for the button-led.

Regards Juli

PS: I think found a bug in the SysEx-File: PushEncoder 5, EncouderGroup 1 has the Index 36, but I think it should be 37 ;-)

Hi Juli,

The feedback for the Release button is not implemented in Cuelux yet, I have just implemented it in our development code.
It will be working when we make a new Cuelux release.
(The midimap is already Release Feedback-proof) ;)

Bart

Hi Juli,

On our website you can find Cuelux 1.03.25.
In this version the feedback control should work for the Release function.

Hi Bart,

the Relase-Button works now just fine; thx for that :-)

But I still have  problems with the Attack-Feedback :-( When I change the value at cuelux, the led on the BCF jumps to one position and stays there.

The direction bcf => cuelux works just fine, only the other way round makes problems.

regards Juli

Hello!

My name is Luka and i'm new on this forum:) I started to use Cuelux with Behringer BCF2000. Everything works fine, i just have one problem!

Is it posible, to do something that the buttons in MIDI controler works like a mouse? So if i want to start playback in have to push button 2 times. Ist's not like i click on mouse;(

This is good for global fog (pres when you want to start foging and pres again when you want to start)

I hope you will understand me:) So again...my problem in that buttons on MIDI works like a switch not as a key

Best regards!

Luka
