Hopefully I'm missing something very obvious here.

I want to transfer all of my configs on to another laptop but when I look in their respective folders, they do not appear.
If I do a search in Windows, shortcuts show up but the files are not at these locations.
Running Vista... that god awful piece of software.

hi Ross,

From reading your question I could already tell you're using vista :( Only Vista can hide our files. Vista has moved it somewhere. I don't know exactly where, but a thorough (manual!) search on your harddisk will help. Good luck (you'll need it ;)

Good old XP doesn't have this issue.

Well I'd postponed this for a while but last weekend weirdly all of my configs disappeared.
Started my laptop and none of my shows there. Fortunately I had half an hour before start.
Managed to find this 'Virtual Folder' they are stored in and copy them back. Relief!

This got me to thinking though...

Surely rather than them being stored per version...
There should be a configs, movements, patterns folder back up at the Visual Productions level, also making for easy backup and transfer.

Oh and another small thing.  Could you correct a fixture for me.
Will be using it on Friday.

Abstract XP3
It doesn't strobe.  It works exactly like the XP5 and MAD PowerFlower.
Strobing is on the Gobo Wheel between values 226-254.

I know that's kinda a fixture request but seen as your reading this.

Ross.

hi Ross,

I agree, the files should be per user rather than per version. I'll change that in the future, we already have for Canvix and Cuelux.

Please find the personality attached.
